Track CLOSED this Saturday 19th May for Working Bee
The track will be Closed this Saturday 19th May for a working bee. We are completely rebuilding pit corner to make it safer. The drain behind the tyre wall will be dug out with a backhoe and pipes install and then covered to create a new kart access path up against the fence. The tyre wall will be rebuilt further away from the fence allowing more run off. Then between the track and the tyre wall a gravel trap will be built to slow karts before they reach the tyre wall when karts come off on the corner. There will be a few other jobs to do while the machinery is working.
Please come along and help out, we are making the track safer for you and everyone that races at our track.
Next Race Meeting Saturday 26th May
Our next race meeting is a Saturday Twilight meeting on the 26th May. Supp Reg's are now available by clicking on the Supp Reg's link on the left hands side of the page.
Driver Training Weekend
The Club will be holding a driver training weekend toward the end of the year. The driver training school will be open to Club Members only. To qualify to attend the driver training weekend members must attend a minimum of 3 of any of the following, working bees or work as an official or attend an officials training session or help out in canteen or in some other way help out on race day.
Help wanted in the Canteen
The Club is looking for members or friends to take over the running of the canteen from August as the Chick family have run the canteen for a number of years and would like a break. If you can help out please contact Darren Stocks on 0409 965 080 or Brian Ramsay on 0439 828 704.
Club Members Wanted to be Trained as Race Officials
There will be a training school for Manning Valley members to be trained as race officials on Saturday the 2nd June at the Taree West Bowling Club, 116 Edinburgh Drive Taree, from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm. Members will be trained as Stewards and Clerk of Course. We need to have a group of member that can help run race meetings. Without officials there is no race meeting.
