Track Facilities Update

On Saturday 21st January members poured the footings for the control tower upgrade and the new awning in front of the canteen. The Committee has planned a working bee for Saturday the 4th February to erect the steelwork that will support the tower and then set the tower in place. Larry Wasley will start to install the wiring for race recording equipment in the lead up to the working bee so that once the tower is in place the electrics can be reconnected and the tower will be ready for the race meeting. At the working bee there are a number of other jobs that need to be done so that our track is ready for our first race meeting of the year. The Committee requests members to put the 4th February in their diary to come and give a hand at get our track ready for our first race meeting on 25th February.
